Milly pushed forward with her demands for women‘s rights and did not stop when she encountered resistance. Her story is incredibly powerful and an inspiration in the fight for equality and women’s rights! #InternationalWomensDay
Milly supported the active fight for women’s rights and insisted that women should participate in the class struggle as they were not just exploited by capitalism like male workers, but also by their male counterparts.
But, that was not everything she engaged in, she was also active in the fight against racism and antisemitism whereby she was often frustrated by what she considered an unwillingness to fight against those problems.
Moreover, she demanded that domestic work should be deemed to wage labour equally and called for access to birth control. #InternationalWomensDay
In Germany, she helped to found the Free Worker‘s Union of Germany (FAUD) and was one of the leading founders of the Women‘s Union in Berlin in 1920. #InternationalWomensDay
